Yes, Spielberg is this film god who can do no wrong..
But my opinion is that this was rubbish.. Beautiful and epic of course, but always cheesy and often ridiculous. I’m not a fan of war movies anyway but I was bored and annoyed at the clichés pretty much all the way through. Don’t even know how many times we were asking why those characters were doing what they were doing and what was going on.
Just because it’s Spielberg, isn’t gonna make me love it.. Yea, very unpopular opinion but I stand by it.
